Radcliffe Potter's father?
Radcliffe Potter's father?, LOS ANGELES (TheWrap.com) - While
insisting his days of playing Harry Potter are over, Daniel Radcliffe
hinted he'd be game to play the wizard's dad in the "unlikely" event
that J.K. Rowling writes a sequel.
No more schoolboy stuff," he told the U.K.'s Time Out magazine. "A cameo as Harry's dad? That would be perfect!"Radcliffe said that real-life fatherhood intrigued him, as well. The 23-year-old star of the Harry Potter films said he is anxious to experience the "wonderful change" enjoyed by his friends who have become parents and that he looked forward to the "sense of purpose" that comes with having children.
But clearly some of the values instilled by Professor Dumbledore, his Hogwarts headmaster in the Potter films, have had an effect.
Radcliffe added that he is "definitely" going to be a demanding parent, who "pushes their kids into things."
Radcliffe was in London preparing for his latest onstage role as Billy, a lame village idiot who dreams of becoming a film star, in Martin McDonagh's "The Cripple of Inishmaan," which is to open next month in London's Noel Coward Theatre.
