Ron Weaver dies


Ron Weaver dies, Ron Weaver, who won three Daytime Emmy Awards during his 27 years with "The Bold and the Beautiful," passed away Thursday May 9 at the age of 75. Weaver worked on "Eye of New York" and for Children's Television Workshop, helping to create shows such as "Sesame Street" and "Electric
Company" before joining "B&B" as an associate producer in 1986 and assisting in launching the Daytime drama. He went up through the ranks at "B&B," involved in daily operations until he eventually became president of the division that oversaw international sales, operations, and promotion. Weaver had just left his position in April, and passed away at home in California.
