Tom Coughlins brother dies

Tom Coughlin, New York Giants coach Tom Coughlin is grieving the sudden death of his younger brother, John Coughlin.
John Coughlin died after being taken off life support following a head injury when he slipped and fell on the sidewalk.

A head injury and prescription blood thinners caused swelling in the brain, according to the Newark Star-Ledger.

Tom Coughlin told his players, "Time on this earth is precious and don’t allow yourself to think otherwise," defensive end Justin Tuck said. "Then he went right into the game plan."
